Cambridgeport
Food Pantry: "The Harvest"
This food pantry takes place on the first and third Saturdays of each
month, at the corner of Putnam and Magazine Streets in Cambridgeport.
Volunteers help set out groceries and assist guests in choosing groceries,
and can participate in a Bible study and prayer session with the guests.

Homeless Shelter
GSCF
folks volunteer at the Unilu Homeless Shelter in Winthrop St Cambridge
from October-April, mainly on Saturday evenings. If you'd like to volunteer,

Service
in Roxbury
The Leon de Judah church in Roxbury is carrying out innovative service
activities with a mainly Latino population. If you're interested in
getting involved (consulting, grant-writing, or hands-on service), please

Salvation
Army
The Salvation Army in Central Square is a Christian service ministry
that is on the lookout for volunteers. They apparently have a particular
need for male volunteers. Contact Alicia

Christmas
Carolling
In past years, GSCF students have carolled at senior citizens centers
around the local area, including the Cambridge Senior Citizens' Center.

Horizons
Initiative
The
Horizons Initiative is always looking for volunteers to spend time playing
with homeless children. There is a 6 month minimum commitment, but they
offer training.
GBIO
The Greater Boston Interfaith Organization aims to bring people
of faith together to fight for social justice in the Boston area.
