John Terrill joined InterVarsity staff during the summer of 1998 and currently serves as National Director for MBA Ministry. Locally, John works with the Harvard Business School Fellowship and is a member of the HGSCF staff team.
In his national role with InterVarsity, John oversees the development of (1) business school fellowships. (3) An ongoing 'connections' ministry of students, faculty, alumni and mentors that target not only the two years in school but the years beyond. (4) Missions opportunities that expand existing perceptions of God; promote issues of justice in the world; model a fundamental dependence on God; and encourage a spirit of Christian unity and love.
Prior to joining InterVarsity staff, John consulted with Hay Management Consultants, an international human resources and compensation consulting firm. In this role, he developed customized reward and performance management systems; assisted in organizational development initiatives, including work culture and design; and developed behavioral competency models for selection, performance management, training/development, and succession planning purposes. Prior to the Hay Group, John worked with Bank of America in both commercial lending and debt restructuring roles.

He loves sports, especially basketball, soccer, tennis and hiking, and enjoys hanging out with friends, reading, listening to live music, traveling, and watching good movies.
